Poems to enjoy is a first poetry collection for children who are developing their skills in English. The poems can be used with Way Ahead or any elementary course in English as a second language.
The poems have been chosen for their variety and high interest level, and will allow children to gain confidence in speaking English and to develop their understanding of how the English language works.
Teachers can use the poems as a basis for class discussion, or for reading aloud and recitation.
Notes for teachers are included, as well as activities to encourage the children to begin to write their own poetry.
“Poems to enjoy” (قصائد للاستمتاع) هي أول مجموعة شعرية للأطفال الذين يطوّرون مهاراتهم في اللغة الإنجليزية. يمكن استخدام هذه القصائد مع سلسلة Way Ahead أو مع أي منهج ابتدائي في اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة ثانية.
تم اختيار القصائد لتنوعها ومستوى الاهتمام العالي فيها، وستساعد الأطفال على اكتساب الثقة في التحدث باللغة الإنجليزية وتطوير فهمهم لكيفية عمل اللغة الإنجليزية.
يمكن للمعلمين استخدام القصائد كأساس للنقاش داخل الفصل، أو للقراءة بصوت عالٍ والإلقاء.
تم تضمين ملاحظات للمعلمين، بالإضافة إلى أنشطة لتشجيع الأطفال على البدء في كتابة قصائدهم الخاصة.
